Rent a clarinet for just $30 for 90 days!

For just $30 we will rent your student a clarinet for a full three months! This three month trial is critical in determining your childs interest in music. After the three month trial, if they enjoy it and want to continue playing, your clarinet will automatically continue to rent for $30 per month. All of your money applies towards the purchase of the instrument, so you may pay it off through your monthly rent-to-own payments. You also may cancel at any time by returning the clarinet. You are never locked in to a long term contract. You can bring the clarinet back or swap it for a different instrument at any time.

About our band instruments:

We take great care in choosing what instruments we will put into a child's hands. Our repairmen, who are professional players, tediously inspect, sterilize, and approve every instrument that we rent. It is our promise that your child will never receive an instrument from us that will be difficult to play or hinder their progress in learning a new instrument.

Frequently asked questions about our band instrument rentals:

• During the three month trial, is my payment $30 per month, or $30 for the entire 90 day duration?
  Your initial payment of $30 gets you the instrument for a FULL THREE MONTHS. After the three month trial period, it will automatically start you on a $30 per month rent-to-own program.
• What if at some time after our three month trial we decide to return the instrument? Are we under contract to pay off the instrument?
  You are not under contract to pay off the instrument. You may return it at any time to cancel the rent-to-own agreement.
• If I stay on the rent-to-own program, will I eventually pay off and own my instrument?
  Yes. All of your money applies towards the purchase of the instrument.
• Is there a penalty for paying the instrument off early?
  No. You may choose to pay off the instrument at any time.
• Can we switch instruments?
  Absolutely. We understand that it may take a few tries to get a child the instrument they really love. You may swap out band instruments at any time.
• If we swap for a different instrument, will I lose the money I've invested into the first instrument?
  Not entirely. 50% of the money you paid into the first instrument will be applied to the next instrument.
• Why do you collect social security numbers on band rentals?
  Please be advised that we run credit checks on all of our online band rentals. We do not electronically store your social security number after the credit check is run. It is deleted from our database.
• When I rent online, will my payments automatically be deducted from my credit card?
  Yes. The credit card used on your order will be used for your monthly payments and automatically debited on the day of the month your order was placed originally.
• Will I get a new or used instrument?
  It depends on current availability. Our used instruments rent first and are gone quite quickly. Regardless of whether it's a new or used instrument, we guarantee that it will be of high quality and good condition.
• If we rent a new instrument and decide we want to purchase one, can we buy a used one instead of the new one we're renting?
  Yes. You can always exchange your instrument for another. 50% of the amount you have invested into the first instrument will roll over to the second instrument.
• Do you warranty the instruments?
  Haggerty's fully warranties all of our rental instruments for a period of one year, including parts and labor. So many of the instruments found in "big-box" stores today break easily and are not repairable due to poor construction. Not the case at Haggerty's. Should our instruments ever need repair, they are easily serviced. Although our warranty does not cover abuse to the instrument, you can be confident that should any part of your instrument be found needing attention, we are there to back it up.
