What styles of music do you enjoy teaching and playing? I enjoy teaching many styles of music. If the student enjoys and relates to it, I enjoy teaching it.

For myself, I most enjoy playing/singing contemporary Christian songs.

How long have you taught music?
10 Years.

What are your qualifications and experience?
10 years formal piano lessons, including two years at Augustana College, Sioux Falls, SD. Two years music theory and voice instruction, Augustana College. Two years as lead vocalist and keyboardist with the band “Country Classics”, Brookings, SD. Nine years as pianist, and six years as choir/praise team director for both traditional and contemporary church services; Marble Township,
MN; Ellsworth Air force Base, SD; Hermosa, SD.

What do you enjoy the most about giving lessons?
Laughing with my students!  Knowing that what I am sharing with them may become something that they will turn to and enjoy for the rest of their lives.
