What styles of music do you enjoy teaching and playing?
I teach with the goal of the student developing the tools they need to make the music they desire to play. I have played many styles of music these past 30 years from punk, jazz, Celtic, folk, Indian, blues, gospel, rock, funk, bluegrass, reggae, big band, and more. If the music is played well, then I enjoy it.

How long have you taught music?
I have been teaching guitar and bass since May of 1994. I have also taught music improvisation, music theory, and song writing,

What are your qualifications and experience?
I attended Berklee College of Music from 1980 to 1982. I have been a performing musician since 1979.

What do you enjoy the most about giving lessons?
When a student reaches the point where they can play a song from start to finish and it sounds good and they know it went well. Very exciting!
