The Martin D Mahogany 09 features a solid environmentally sustainable, European spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. The tone of the D Mahogany 09 is very clear, almost bell like, with a unique and present mid-range from the Mahogany back and sides. One outstanding feature is the scalloped bracing which makes the D Mahogany 09 project a loud and very clear tone. The neck is a mahogany modified V neck shape with a square taper headstock, nickel open-geared tuners, and butterbean knobs.
