A Classic Daphne Blue Suhr with a sophisticated Cocobolo fingerboard! This Suhr Classic is made has an Alder body and an "Even C Fat" Quartersawn Maple neck. Cocobolo, which is used on the fingerboard, is a species of Rosewood and has the same tonal properties, but the grain lines and color patterns are stunning, and literally jump off of this guitar.

This guitar is also outfitted with the 6 Screw, Bent Saddle Gotoh 510 bridge which is closer in tone to the original vintage trems. The feel and tuning stability of this bridge however, is far from traditional! There is no play in the trem bar, it has an easy feel, and it stays in tune!

One of the biggest innovations we've seen from Suhr guitars, is the introduction of the Silent Single Coil system (SSC). Regular single coil pickups are used, in this case the ML's, and a dummy coil is fitted into the body of the guitar. This dummy coil doesn't interfere with the tone of the pickups, but rather kills the frustrating hum associated with the single coil pickups design. You don't have to settle for "stacked" single coils (which are just repackaged humbuckers) for a noise free vintage tone. These are REAL single coil pickups... without the noise!

If you want the ability to turn the SSC off, there is is a push-pull switch on the center tone knob which will turn the SSC off when pulled.
