This Suhr Modern is a true symbol of class! Nothing is more classic than an aged Olympic White body finished in nitrocellulose laquer. The medium aging on the finish has been meticulously performed to give the guitar an old, played in feeling that you'll bond with the instant you pick it up.

To really class things up, a Roasted Birdseye Maple neck, which has ZERO antiquing, gives you the performance and playability you need. Combined with this neck, the body, made from basswood with a 3/16" maple cap, produces a balanced an even tone with a lot of soul. Never harsh, and never muddy, the basswood / maple combination keeps the low notes clear, and the high notes full. John Suhr has called it the "Holy Grail" of tone wood combos.

Stainless steel frets, a Gotoh double locking tremolo, and Suhr Aldrich pickups are the finishing touches to give this axe the versitility to handle anything from high flying licks, to blusey soul... jazz fusion to classic rock.
