The Suhr Modern Carve Top features a 3/4" quilted maple top which adds more punch and clarity when compared to the flat top versions. This Suhr Modern Carve Top is finished in Honey Amber Burst, features a Mahogany body and neck, striped Cocobolo fingerboard, Gotoh 510 Tremolo, and SSH+ / SSV pickups.

The striping in the Cocobolo fingerboard is striking, and there's even some knots than bend around the fingerboard. How cool!

This guitar is very punchy sounding. The Mahogany body has a lot of emphasis in the low mids, and the 3/4" maple top just takes it over the edge! Punch, power, and clarity. This guitar can really sing!

There are push/pull pots installed on both the volume and tone control to switch the humbuckers from series to parallel wiring. Combined with the 5-way switch you can get literally a dozen different tones out of this configuration! One of my favorites is both humbuckers on, neck in parallel, bridge in series which is achieved by putting the 5-way in position 3 with the volume pot pulled.
