The Suhr Pro Series S3 features a Basswood body with a 3/16" Flame Maple top. This is John Suhr's favorite body wood combination! These body woods produce a unique bell like tone that is warm without being muddy, and clear without being harsh.

The Suhr Pro Series S3 neck is made from rift sawn Maple. Rift sawn necks are right in between flat sawn and quarter-sawn, giving you the best of both worlds. The neck is topped with a high quality Indian Rosewood fingerboard and fretted with heavy stainless steel frets.
