Woodwind Improvisational Techniques of the Classical Era: A Pedagogy Method
Overwhelmed with how to add improvisation into your Classical solo? Or maybe you're not even sure you should... Woodwind Improvisatory Techniques of the Classical Era: A Pedagogy Method is a step-by-step guide to understanding and implementing the what, why, where, when, and how of Classical improvisation. This comprehensive method consists of historical and cultural context with scholarly apparatus, an aural skills builder, a how-to section on Classical ornamentation, Classical improv techniques, a sample score with a step-by-step process of how to incorporate improvisation, and an anthology of examples all in one book. Plus, you’ll receive access to a webpage of recordings of the book’s examples.
