Our cutaway maple/spruce Grand Concert has been newly enhanced with V-Class bracing, our internal sonic engine that powers this compact guitar to produce louder volume and longer sustain with improved overall tonality.
Rich, warm and complex, the new bracing adds adding extra depth to the Grand Concert body’s natural clarity and top-end chime. Tone-enhancing strokes include a torrefied (specially roasted) top that yields wonderfully aged tonal character and an ultra-thin, 3.5-mil gloss finish to enhance the guitar’s acoustic resonance. Together with a hand-friendly short-scale neck, the 612ce sounds and plays like a dream. A hand-rubbed “Brown Sugar” stain on the back and sides gives maple’s striking figure a beautiful violin-hued appearance. Featured appointments include new grained ivoroid Wings fretboard inlays, an inlaid ebony backstrap, ebony binding with grained ivoroid purfling, an ebony/grained ivoroid rosette, and a striped ebony pickguard, with Taylor’s stage-ready Expression System® 2 pickup onboard.
