Carrie's love for music began at an early age with piano lessons from her grandmother. In the seventh grade orchestra she began playing the double bass and has never looked back.
She has been playing in symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles and symphonic bands for thirteen years. In addition to playing Carrie enjoys teaching the double bass.
As well, Carrie has a Bachelor of Arts with a music emphasis from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and currently plays in the Black Hills Symphony Orchestra and with the Dakota Choral Union.
